Grand Mufti of Egypt praises His Majesty's leadership

Muscat: The Grand Mufti of Egypt, also the President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide, has appreciated the tolerant approach that characterises the Sultanate and its continued role in serving to resolve the issues of the Islamic nation.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "His Eminence Dr. Shawki Allam, the Grand Mufti of Egypt, President of the General Secretariat for Fatwa Authorities Worldwide , appreciates the tolerant approach that characterises the Sultanate and its continued role in serving the issues of the Islamic nation under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik. He said this during his meeting with HE Ambassador Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Rahbi, the Sultanate’s ambassador to Egypt and its permanent representative to the Arab League."
