Muscat: The Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI), has praised the automatic licensing approval service initiative which was recently launched by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion.
A statement issued online by OCCI said: "His Excellency Eng. Ridha bin Jumah Al Saleh, Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, praised the initiative recently launched by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, which is the automatic licensing approval service."
Al Saleh said, "The service comes as a direct outcome of the economic stimulus plan that was approved by His Majesty Sultan Haitham Bin Tarik which aims to create an investment climate in the Sultanate and facilitate business."
He added: "This service is aimed at achieving what Oman Vision 2040 seeks, by contributing to creating a business environment that promotes economic growth and encourages the establishment of commercial projects and investment partnerships."
