People compelled to return home after finding some gyms closed

Muscat: A large number of gym goers in Muscat and other parts of the country were surprised to find their gyms closed on Monday morning, requiring them to return home.

Many gyms have circulated notices to their customers, informing them that their premises will stay closed until further notice. The reasons for the closure are not yet known.

The management of a gym in the country said their “gym will be closed until further notice, effective from 5 April 2021.”

"We have just gotten information to close our gym starting today until further notice," added a notification issued by another gym in Muscat to its customers.
