Development of endangered eagle’s chick documented in video

Muscat: The Environment Authority has documented an eagle's chick in one of the nests in Dhofar Governorate

A statement issued online by Environment Authority said: "The Directorate General of the Environment in the Governorate of Dhofar has documented an eagle's chick in one of the nests, which is one of the endangered birds in the Sultanate due to its low numbers in nature due to its slow reproduction as it lays one egg every year, and the nests of this type of eagles are subjected to vandalism and stealing of their chicks by poachers.”
