Muscat: The Government Communication Centre (GCC) has clarified on Thursday about the decision of the Supreme Committee regarding the suspension of official and private sports activities in various governorates.
A statement issued online by the Government Communication Centre (GCC) said ”We clarify that the decision regarding the suspension of official and private sports activities in various governorates includes the suspension of sports activities in sports stadiums of all kinds, including the artificial grass fields, tartan, and the suspension of sports activities in closed sports halls.”
This comes according to the decision of the Supreme Committee in charge to deal with COVID-19 regarding the suspension of official and private sports activities in various governorates from Thursday, April 1, 2021 until further notice.
