Muscat: The implementation of the value-added tax (VAT) will start on April 16, 2021.
A statement issued online by the Tax Authority said, "Based on the Royal Decree No. 121/1020 regarding value-added tax, the imposition of value-added at a rate of 5 per cent will start on April 16, 2021."
