Royal Court Affairs suspends camel racing season

Muscat: The Royal Court Affairs has suspended the horse and camel racing for this season

A statement issued online by Royal Court Affairs said :"Pursuant to what was approved by the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19 on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, to suspend official and private sporting activities, starting from the first Thursday, April 1, 2021 until further notice, and  to saving lives and avoids the risk of Covid-19 by uniting with all national efforts aiming to limit the spread of this epidemic in the Sultanate, it has been decided to announce the final suspension of horse and camel racing for this season."
