Muscat: The Oman Fisheries Company will get compensation of over OMR 141,000 in relation to a fish dumping case from 2017 that it was fighting at the Administrative Judiciary Court through an appeal.
The company said in a statement, “The company is pleased to announce the final outcome of the Appeal No SA-855/20 regarding compensation for fish dumped in 2017. The court ruled in session dated 15 March that a sum of OMR 141,288.024 is due to Oman Fisheries Company as compensation and expenses for the lawsuit.”
"Since the Appeals Court is considered the last level of litigation, the judgment issued possesses the power of an adjudicate order and is not subject to appeal and further judgment,” the statement added.
