Muscat: The National Committee for Family Affairs discussed a proposal about protecting children from crime, marriage issues, and rising divorce cases in the country.
In a statement issued Ministry of Social Development said: "The National Committee for Family Affairs reviews, in its first meeting this year, discussed a number of issues, including the National Cooperation Program between the Sultanate’s government and the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), a report on the reality of marriage and divorce in the Sultanate, and proposals on criminal protection for children and support for family studies.”
