Expat arrested in Oman for theft

Muscat: An expatriate worker has been arrested by the Royal Oman Police (ROP), for stealing from a company in the concession areas.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "The Oil and Gas Facilities Police Command arrested an expatriate on charges of stealing from a company in the concession areas and violating the laws on work and residence applicable to foreigners. Legal measures are taken against him."
