Temperature crosses 40 degrees in parts of Oman

Muscat: A significant increase in temperatures is causing some parts of the Sultanate to experience temperatures of up to 40 degrees Celsius.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "Currently, a significant increase in temperatures reaching 40 degrees Celsius in the coastal areas of the Sea of Oman and the coasts of Musandam (recorded in the meteorological stations of the Civil Aviation Authority now)."
