Citizen claims to be tortured in prison, OHRC to look into the matter

Muscat: The Oman Human Rights Commission (OHRC) will follow up on the video clip of a citizen claiming to be tortured in prison and will take necessary action in accordance with the law.

The commission issued a statement that said, "The Oman Commission for Human Rights followed the video clip circulated in social media for an Omani citizen in which he says that he has been subjected to torture violations, and the commission will coordinate with the competent authorities to find the truth and take the necessary actions in accordance with the law."
