Al Wajajah port foils bid to smuggle alcohol

Muscat: Al-Wajajah port customs has foiled the smuggling of more than 19,000 bottles of alcoholic drinks.

A statement issued online by Oman Customs said: "The customs of Al-Wajajah port thwarted the smuggling of more than 19,000 bottles of alcoholic drinks, which were tightly hidden among other goods inside the truck."
