Customs foils bid to smuggle Khat at Oman port

Muscat: Oman Customs foiled an attempt to smuggle 164 packages of khat into the country, Customs officials announced.

In an online statement Oman Customs said, “Sarfait port customs prevented the smuggling of more than 164 packages of khat drug that were professionally hidden in a vehicle's spare tire."
