New Delhi: International flights on routes not approved by India’s aviation authorities will not be allowed to land in India until 30 April, as part of ongoing measures to halt the spread of COVID-19.
The Director General of Civil Aviation has extended the existing flight ban on “scheduled commercial passenger services to/from India till 23:59 hrs IST, on 30 April 2021. This restriction shall not apply to international all-cargo operations, and flights specifically approved by the DGCA.”
In a circular confirming the same, the government body added: “However, international scheduled flights may be allowed on selected routes by the competent authority on a case-to-case basis.”
