Muscat: The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Health, will participate in the celebration of World Tuberculosis Day on Wednesday, which falls on the 24th of March every year.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency, (ONA), said:" The Sultanate, represented by the Ministry of Health, joins the countries of the world tomorrow in the celebration of World Tuberculosis Day, which falls on the 24th of March of each year. Tuberculosis is one of the deadliest infectious diseases in the world, and the Sultanate is classified as one of the countries with a low incidence of this disease at 10 per 100,000.
