Acts against public decency to attract jail term in Oman

Muscat: A sentence of 3 months imprisonment and/or a fine of OMR 500 will be applicable in case of persons committing any act against public decency inside a vehicle.

A statement issued online by Public Prosecution said:"Committing any act against public decency inside a vehicle is an offence punishable by imprisonment for a period up to 3 months and a fine of OMR 500 or by either one of these two sentences."
