Muscat: A person has been arrested by Royal Oman Police (ROP), for smuggling narcotic substances.
A statement issued online by ROP said: "North Al-Batinah Governorate Police Command arrests an expatriate on charges of smuggling narcotic substances with the intention of trafficking in them and participating with an international gang. ROP seized in his possession (40) kilograms of crystal drug, (24) molds of hashish, and (3) kilograms of morphine. The legal procedures are being completed against him. "
