Fire in Muscat apartment, four rescued

Muscat: A fire broke out in an apartment in Muscat Governorate, and firefighting teams managed to rescue four persons trapped within.

The Public Authority of Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) said: "The firefighting teams in Muscat Governorate managed to put out a fire that broke out at an apartment in a building in the Al Athaiba area in the wilayat of Baushar."

"The building was evacuated and four people were rescued by hydraulic lift and they are in good health," PACDA added.
