First organised women's league launched in Oman

Muscat: Her Highness Mian bint Shihab bin Tarik Al Said has sponsored on Friday the launch of the first organised women's league for halls in the Sultanate.

A statement issued online by Oman Football Association (OFA) said, ”Under the patronage of Her Highness Mian bint Shihab bin Tarik Al Said and in the presence of many invited women and officials responsible for women's football in the Sultanate, the Oman Football Association launched this evening the first organised women's league for halls, in the main hall of the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in Baushar.”
