Directors of Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah hold meeting on rise in Covid-19 cases

Muscat: The Board of Directors of the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah held a meeting to discuss the increasing number of Covid-19 cases and the number of hospitalised patients.

The General Directorate of Health Services for the Governorate of Dhofar said in a statement: “In view of the increase in the number of infections for patients with Covid-19 and the increase in the number of hospitalised patients at the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah, the hospital’s board of directors held a meeting today to discuss the necessary preparations to confront this increase.”

The meeting was chaired by Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Mashikhi, Director General of the General Directorate of Health Services for the Governorate of Dhofar, in the presence of the hospital's board of directors. In the meeting they discussed a number of current issues related to Covid-19 and the intensification of efforts and measures in isolation and intensive care departments.
