Muscat: As part of its efforts to beat the Covid-19 pandemic, France has announced new lockdown measures, including a total closure which will last for a month, the Oman News Agency (ONA) reported. The measures will begin from today (March 19).

ONA said in a statement, “The French Prime Minister announced the imposition of total closure for a month in Paris and other regions, starting Friday, March 19 2021.” The PM was quoted as saying, “We are facing a third wave due to the mutated British strain of Coronavirus.”
