Five convicted for violating Supreme Committee decisions
Muscat: Three months imprisonment and a fine of OMR 300 has been imposed on five people for violating the decisions of the Supreme Committee to deal with COVID-19.
A statement issued online by the Public Prosecution said, "Primary courts in three governorates convicted five people for violating the Supreme Committee’s decisions that include violating institutional quarantine, gathering and going to the beach, and sentenced them to a period of up to three months in prison and a fine up to OMR 300."
