Driving with a cancelled license? You could face jail time

Muscat: Imprisonment for a period of 3 months and /or a fine of OMR 500 will be applicable in cases of persons driving a vehicle with a canceled license or a withdrawn plate number or with a revoked driver's license.

A statement issued online by Public Prosecution said: "Driving a vehicle with a canceled license or a withdrawn plate number or with revoked or canceled driver's license is an offence punishable by imprisonment for a period up to 3 months and a fine of OMR 500 or by either one of these two sentences."
