MSM index ends higher

Muscat: Muscat Securities Market (MSM) general index (30) added 15.3 points, comprising a rise by 0.41 per cent to close at 3,742.78 points, compared to the last session, which stood at 3,727.49 points.

The trading value stood at OMR2,243,959, comprising a rise of 25.2 per cent, compared to the last session, which stood at OMR1,792,129.

The report released by MSM pointed out that the market value rose by 0.015 per cent to reach about OMR20.51 billion.

The report added that the value of shares bought by non-Omani investors reached OMR891,000, comprising 39.70 per cent.

The value of shares sold by non-Omani investors reached OMR343,000, comprising 15.30 per cent. The net non-Omani investment increased by 24.40 per cent to OMR547,000.
