587 new coronavirus cases, 5 deaths reported in Oman

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has registered 587 new coronavirus cases and 5 deaths in the past 24 hours in Oman.

The total cases in the country have now touched 148010 including 137028 recoveries and 1614 deaths, according to MOH.

In the past 24 hours, 258 recoveries were reported.

The ministry urged everyone to adhere to social distancing instructions issued by the Supreme Committee and the MOH.
