Expat workers arrested in Oman

Muscat: The Consumer Protection Authority has arrested expat workers in the wilayat of Sohar for manufacturing unlicensed detergents.

A statement issued online by the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA) said: "Consumer Protection in Sohar arrests expatriate workers of Arab nationality who manufactured detergents for all uses without fulfilling health and safety requirements or obtaining licenses and approvals from the concerned authorities."
