Muscat: The North Al Batinah Governorate is witnessing a quantum leap in the real estate sector.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "The wilayats of North Al Batinah Governorate are witnessing a quantum leap in the real estate sector due to the governorate being a promising economic destination represented by the Sohar Port and the Free Zone. The wilayats of the governorate witnessed a leap in construction and reconstruction in all residential and commercial areas."

Eng. Said Bin Ali Al Abri, Chairman of the Real Estate Development and Contracting Committee, said: "The governorate has witnessed tangible development over the past two decades in terms of commercial and residential buildings, tourism facilities and the industrial leap witnessed by Sohar Port and free zone and foreign investments."

"The contracting sector is important in creating economic activity for many other sectors, to be a true contributor to the national economy and actively participating in the implementation of projects."
