Muscat: His Excellency The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning has clarified that the National Urban Development Strategy is the basic guide for the urban future and the enabler for the vision of Oman 2040.
A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "His Excellency Dr.Khalfan bin Said Al-Shu'aili,The Minister of Housing and Urban Planning clarifies that the National Urban Development Strategy is the basic guide for the urban future and the enabler of the basis for the vision of Oman 2040, as it is the spatial template into which the various development programs pour into an integrated, balanced and multidimensional manner."
In his speech to the Oman News Agency, His Excellency said that: "The urban strategy contributes to directing investment and development to the appropriate sites in order to achieve integration and harmony between development activities and provide the necessary incentives to enhance social and economic prosperity while preserving the environment for future generations."
