Oman's private sector satisfied with economic stimulus plan

Muscat: The private sector has expressed its satisfaction with the economic stimulus plan approved by the Sultanate - last week - which calls for supporting efforts to mitigate the repercussions of the Covid-19 crisis on the national economy, enhancing the performance of economic activities and attracting foreign investment.

In a statement to Oman News Agency, many businessmen explained that the plan expressed His Majesty the Sultan's high interest in the private sector because it is a key partner with the government in development, stressing that implementing the plan would accelerate economic development for the post-pandemic period.
