Muscat: Expats workers have been arrested by Muscat Municipality for storing and selling smoked materials, tobacco, and its derivatives.
A statement issued online by Muscat Municipality said: "Muscat Municipality has arrested workers in Muttrah who store and sell smoked materials, tobacco, and its derivatives. The legal measures have been taken against them."
"The municipality warns the need for landlords to follow up with tenants in accordance with regulations and legislation, in order to ensure the cleanliness of the city and the safety of everyone, and to avoid any excesses that expose their owners to legal accountability. " the statement added
