Rumours of death due to Covid-19 vaccine in Oman false: MoH

Muscat: The Ministry of Health has denied news being circulated of the death of a person after taking the Covid-19 vaccine.

The MoH said in a statement: "The Ministry of Health would like to clarify that what has been circulated on social media about a death due to taking the Covid-19 vaccine in the Sultanate is untrue."

The Ministry confirmed that no side effects of taking the vaccine were recorded in the national campaign against Covid-19.

"The Ministry calls on the public not to circulate such rumors, and to obtain information from its official sources, and the Ministry will take legal measures in this regard," the statement said.
