Two women arrested in Oman for extortion

Muscat: The police have arrested two women on charges of fraud and extortion.

The Royal Oman Police said in a statement: "Muscat Governorate Police Command has arrested a person and two women of African nationalities who lured people with pictures through some social media applications and got them to visit their residence in order to defraud and extort them later. Legal procedures against them are underway."
