Despite emergency stop in Pakistan, passenger on board Indian flight dies

Muscat: Although India and Pakistan came together for the greater good in order to save the life of a passenger on board a plane bound for Lucknow that required to make an emergency stop in Karachi, they were unable to save his life.

An IndiGo airways Sharjah-Lucknow flight was rerouted at short notice to Karachi, after the aforementioned passenger complained about discomfort on board.

However, despite the best efforts of paramedics who were rushed to the aircraft, the passenger unfortunately passed away.

“IndiGo flight 6E 1412 from Sharjah to Lucknow was diverted to Karachi due to a medical emergency,” said the airline. “Unfortunately, the passenger could not be revived and was declared dead on arrival by the airport medical team.”
