7 rescued from stranded boats in Oman

Muscat: Seven Omanis on board stranded boats in Oman waters were rescued by Royal Oman Police (ROP) Coast Guard team, the authority said.“Two people were rescued from a boat in Seeb after it ran out of fuel,” ROP said.
“Three of them stranded on a boat after its engine developed problems in Shinas and two others stranded on a boat near Sur in a similar situation were also rescued,” ROP added.
The ROP has advised sailors to have enough fuel and check engine conditions before they venture out to sea.
