Muscat: Oman and Brazil have signed a mutual visa exemption agreement for holders of the diplomatic, special, official and service passports.
The bilateral agreement was signed yesterday at the Foreign Ministry by Mohammed bin Yousef Al Zarafi, Undersecretary of the Foreign Ministry for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and Mitzi Gurgel Valente da Costa, Ambassador of Brazil to the Sultanate on behalf of their respective countries.
Meanwhile, Dr. Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, Head of the Minister’s Office Department received yesterday Fernando Jose Marroni de Abreu, Undersecretary General Responsible for Africa and the Middle East at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Brazil, currently visiting the Sultanate.
The two sides discussed means of promoting the bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields and issues of common concern.
