Over 130 establishments shut by Madayn for Covid-19 related violations

Muscat: More than 130 institutions have been closed for violating the precautionary measures to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the Public Establishments for Industrial Estates: “Until February 18, 2021, Madayn inspection teams made 4,415 inspection visits, during which they recorded 928 warnings to correct some practices and issued a decision to close 133 establishments and recorded 152 violations."

Madayn also received 2,088 reports, and carried out 224 sterilisation operations.
