Muscat: Three citizens have been sentenced to imprisonment for a period of three months and a fine of OMR 1000 for violating the institutional quarantine procedures and not wearing masks.
A statement issued online by the Public Prosecution said, "Primary courts in North Batinah and Dhofar have convicted three citizens for violating the institutional quarantine procedures and not wearing masks in public as instructed by the Supreme Committee on COVID-19 and has sentenced them to three months in prison and a fine of OMR 1000. "
