Urgent appeal made for blood donation in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has appealed to the holders of B- and O - blood types to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.

A statement issued online by DBBS said :"The Central Blood Bank in Baushar is in dire need today for blood donors of two factions: B- and O- due to the low level of stocks of the two factions. There are a number of cases that need blood transfusion."

"Blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
