Muscat: The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance (PACDA) has warned not to circulate and publish old video clips and pictures of fire-related incidents.
In a statement issued online PACDA said:” The Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulance would like to draw the attention of citizens and residents about the circulation of video clips about different fire-related incidents on social media, and the authority confirms that it deals permanently with various types of fires to protect lives and property, and warns not to circulate old video clips and pictures or photographing and publishing accidents.”
“The Authority calls on everyone to verify and obtain information from its official sources, with our wishes for safety for all,”the statement added
