Several arrested for smuggling in Oman

Muscat: The police have arrested a group of people found smuggling prohibited items through transit trucks loaded with food supplies.

The Royal Oman Police said: "The General Administration of Investigations and Criminal Investigations, in cooperation with the General Administration of Customs, has arrested a group of people who smuggled prohibited items through transit trucks loaded with supplies by hiding them in a tight manner and stuffed with food and drinks, and the case is under process."
