Muscat: More than 70 per cent of retired employees from the government sector were men according to the last data issued by Civil Service Employees Pension Fund (CSEPF).
According to the statistics shared by CSEPF, the total number of retired employees has reached 9,374 during the period from January 2020 to December 2020, 76 per cent of them were men and 24 per cent were women.
The data also shows that the average age of retirement is 54 years, the average service period is 31 years, and the average monthly pension is OMR 1,001.
