Appeal for B-ve blood made in Oman

Muscat: The Department of Blood Banks Services (DBBS), has renewed its appeal to the holders of B- blood type to donate blood urgently at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar.
 
A statement issued online by DBBS said: "We would like to inform you that there is still a very urgent need for type B- , as there are a number of conditions that require blood transfusion. Therefore, we renew our appeal and call people to take the initiative to donate blood today at the Central Blood Bank in Baushar."

"Blood donation times are from Saturday to Thursday, from 8 am to 8 pm and on Friday from 3 pm to 8 pm. Please book your appointment to donate blood via WhatsApp at 94555648," the statement added.
