Muscat: Oman may consider stopping flights to some countries where coronavirus cases are significantly increasing, the country’s Minister of Health said.
His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Al Saeedi, Minister of Health said: “The Supreme Committee is analysing the data especially from countries like Tanzania. “Those coming from Tanzania record 18% of positive cases and that is a very high number,” Al Saeedi said.
“Therefore the Supreme Committee is considering stopping flights with countries where Covid 19 is spreading in a worrying and dangerous manner,” he added.
