Person arrested in Oman for running job scam

Muscat: The Royal Oman Police (ROP), has arrested a person for defrauding several people through direct contact with the victims.

A statement issued online by ROP said: "Muscat Governorate Police Command arrested a person on charges of fraud and defrauding several people through direct contact with the victims, deluding them by promising to provide them with job opportunities in different companies in exchange for paying fees to obtain special certificates to work in these companies. The case is under procedure."
