Cloudy weather, rainfall forecast over parts of Oman

Muscat: There are chances of cloudy weather and rainfall over the Al Hajar Mountains and surrounding areas, Oman Meteorology said on Tuesday.

A statement issued online by Oman Meteorology said: "Mainly clear skies over most of the Sultanate with chances of cloud development and isolated rain over Al Hajar Mountains and surroundings toward afternoon. Chance of late night to early morning low level clouds or fog patches over parts of South Al Sharqiyah, Al Wusta and Dhofar Governorate." A fog warning was also issued.

The expected maximum and minimum temperature will be 28 degrees Celsius and 17 degrees in Muscat Governorate, 28 degrees, 18 degrees in the wilayat of Sohar and 25 degrees and 16 degrees in  the wilayat of Rustaq.

According to Oman News Agency (ONA), the highest temperature expected on Tuesday is 32 degrees in the wilayats of Al Amerat and Fahud the lowest temperature is 8 degrees in Jabal Shams.
