Cleaning campaign carried out at Daymaniyat Island Reserve

Muscat: The Environment Authority carried out a cleaning campaign in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve that lasted for four days.

The authority said: "Within the framework of the joint cooperation with the Royal Environment and Maritime Authority of Oman, the authority carried out a cleaning campaign to remove deformations on the island of Al Jabal Al Kabir in the Daymaniyat Islands Nature Reserve."

"The campaign continued for 4 consecutive days during which the waste was collected and transported through one of the ships of the Royal Navy of Oman," the EA added.
