Muscat: Photography, art and history lovers are sure to enjoy the new exhibition organised to showcase Oman’s heritage, culture and natural beauty.
The event, which is being held by the Photographic Society of Oman (PSO) in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, will run until 11 February, 2021, at the former’s headquarters in Al Seeb.
“You are invited to view 26 different pictures shot by 26 young Omani male and female photographers,” said the ministry in a statement. “The exhibition features 11 Omanis who are recipients of medals from the International Federation of Photographic Art (FIAP), as well as submissions from 15 photographers who are new members of the Photographic Society of Oman.”
The ministry added: “Through this new exhibition, you will know more about the meaning of Oman culture in everyday life.”
In this context, the Photographic Society of Oman said: “We invite you to visit the exhibition featuring the works of our new members during the aforementioned period, in the exhibition hall at our headquarters.”
The exhibition runs from 8am to 8pm every day until the 11th of February.
