Muscat: Al Ahlia Insurance, one of the leading insurance companies in Oman, received the ‘Oman Insurer of the Year’ award at MENA IR Awards 2021 for the 8th time. Previously, the company has won the title in 2011, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
The MENA IR Awards recognise and celebrate the ground-breaking achievements of insurers, reinsurers and brokers across the MENA region. The awards are judged by an independent panel of industry experts who evaluate the comprehensive performance of the organisation over the past 12 months.
This year’s awards ceremony was held online on 27th January and was attended by well-known industry leaders and senior officials.

Earlier, Al Ahlia won the ‘Best Performing Company’ award at AIWA Awards 2020, a recognition it has been winning continuously since the first year of its listing on the Muscat Securities Market following the successful IPO of the company in 2017.
