Omani citizen airlifted in medical emergency

Muscat: The Royal Air Force of Oman has conducted a medical evacuation of an Omani woman who is suffering from a critical health condition in Khasab.

A statement issued online by Oman News Agency (ONA), said: "A helicopter of the Royal Air Force of Oman carried out a medical evacuation of a female citizen suffering from a critical health condition. The citizen was transferred from Khasab Health Center in Musandam Governorate to Sohar Hospital in the North Al Batinah Governorate to receive the necessary specialised treatment."

“The transfer of the patient comes within the framework of the humanitarian services and national efforts that the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence provide to citizens and residents on the homeland, side by side with the rest of other government institutions," the statement added.
